Children with disabilities are denied much in life. However, with well-directed financial support, these boys and girls can discover a new scope in life and have a second chance. Katarina Witt gives kids, especially those with disabilities, courage, introduces them to sports which are fun for them, and in turn, enstills them with confidence and strength. Kids are happy about every aspect: The new trampoline for the trampoline group at the Willich-Schiefbahn Sports Club which was funded by the Katarina Witt Foundation amuses them because of the unfamiliar motion, and motivates them to practice and train. Not only is their sense of balance improved by this, but they are also better able to handle special situations in their daily lives. The kids are excited about new sports and playground equipment.
