Survivor Corp.
Survivor Corps is a global network of the affected for the affected (peer method). War victims and survivors of violent attacks are committed to helping victims and survivors from war zones to reintegrate socially and economically, as well as to cope with the trauma of war.
On May 2nd, 2008 the treaty concerning the rights of people with disabilities came into effect. Survivor Corps made a significant contribution to this, in order that people with disabilities would be treated as equal citizens, and would be granted the human rights and unlimited participation in society they were entitled to.
The original organization, LSN (Landmine Survivor’s Network), founded by Jerry White, was re-named in May 2008 to Survivor Corps in order to make a clearer statement about their field of activities.
Survivor Corps again played a leading role during the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), lobbying for the abolishment of landmine production and usage.

As a child, Caroline Rose Adong was stricken with polio and also fell victim to a bomb attack in Uganda. Today she works on-site for our partner organization, Survivor Corps, helping landmine victims. ![]()
