Landmine victim Thembi needs a new Arm

One day, while playing in a field, Thembi spotted a toy sparkling in the sunlight. He picked it up with his tiny hands. As it turns out, the toy was a landmine! The explosion blew off most of his left arm. Imagine the pain and fear he felt! Thembi had to have his arm amputated from above the elbow with no sedation. There were no anaesthetics. It is a wonder that the boy survived.

Give landmine victims a future

Only if children like Thembi can get to a clinic immediately, can the pain be alleviated and the wounds be properly treated. Besides that, Thembi needs a prosthesis. Only then will he have a real chance in life. Please help with your donation, so that this boy doesn’t give up hope for recovery.
